Roller Boat I.P.A. Rolls Back Into Rotation

Hello, craft beer enthusiasts!

We’re often asked what inspires the names of our beers. The answer, by and large, is the unusual stories we find digging around the Toronto archives and the articles we come across in Toronto-centric blogs, newspapers, and magazines. There seems to be no shortage of peculiarities from the past! Take Roller Boat I.P.A. for instance, this was named after a bizarre cigar-shaped vessel from the late nineteenth century meant to glide over waves thus reducing sea-sickness. The Roller Boat raised many eyebrows with its giant paddle and stationary inner cabin. Sadly we can’t say that the Roller Boat succeeded to revolutionize water travel, as it was abandoned and remains buried under what was once Toronto’s shoreline. But we are happy to say that Roller Boat I.P.A. with it’s juicy, citrusy flavours is back in the rotation as of this weekend! Come take a ride into the world of beautiful west coast hops.

Grab one at our retail bottle shop or you may find them on tap at some of the fine establishments that carry Muddy York.

Cheers!
