Muddy York Brewing Co. gets its name from a disparaging term used to describe the early settlement then known as York, which became the thriving metropolis of Toronto. Rainy days wreaked havoc on the city, turning its unpaved streets into impassable muddy roadways. It was a time of hard work and new beginnings, where folks took pride in their craft and built things to last.

 

We here at Muddy York Brewing Co. feel much the same way about our beer. We take a ‘less is more’ approach to brewing. All of our beers are handcrafted, remarkably drinkable and well balanced. We take pride in the details because it’s the details that make good beers great.

 

Co-owned by brewer Jeff Manol and designer-in-chief Susan Michalek (they’re married), our beer family of over-achievers, ne’er-do-wells, rascals, gentlefolk, and scholars look forward to seeing you here at our brewery. We’ll save you a seat at the bar.

The Muddy York Taproom, Beer Garden, and Retail Store is open seven days a week and features twelve beers on tap, bottles, cans, and growlers in the fridge, and a variety of brewery swag. Drink a 12oz pint of your favourite beer or try a flight of 5oz samples. We’ve got snacks too. 22 Cranfield Road, Toronto, Ontario, M4B 3H1

Tropical Beers & Smoky Meats. If you like dank, juicy IPAs and Saisons brewed with Guava, today is your lucky day. We’ve just canned fresh batches of juicy, cloudy, Storm Glass IPA and fruity, funky, Cervisia Saison W/Guava. Both are waiting for you in the retail fridge. If house-made pastrami and BBQ Peri-Peri chicken are also your jam, then we suggest you head over to the brewery this Saturday when east-end all-stars, @stockintradeto will be serving up sandwiches, platters, and salads all afternoon.
