End 2017 with a FREE Bottle Bag!

Goodbye 2017, We Hardly Even Knew Ye.

It’s the final Reggae Friday of the year here at the Muddy York Brewing Co. We play reggae every Friday from opening until closing (unless some rogue beer person takes control of the music machines). So, if you’d like to figuratively transport yourself from our current polar vortex to a sunnier, warmer vibe, we’ll be open until 8pm today. We’re also open until 8pm tomorrow and until 4pm on New Year’s Eve. Management reserves the right to withhold reggae at the weekend.

As a thank you for all your support this year, we’ll be giving away a free Muddy York Bottle Bag with each purchase of six beers or more.*

Happy New Year everybody.

Much Love,
Muddy York Brewing Co.

*Also because we’ve run out of six-pack carriers

The Official Taproom Grand Opening Party

There will be beer.

Muddy York Brewing Co. is pleased to invite you to The Official Taproom Grand Opening Party on Saturday, September 30th. We’ll be partying from 11-8pm in our newly built taproom located at 22 Cranfield Road. Marvel at our custom built tap tower, which will feature some crowd favourites along side lesser-known, special offerings, beer on cask, prizes, bottles, growlers, and merchandise. Knuckle Sandwich will be supplying delicious eats, and vinyl will be spun by DJ JD. Join us as we celebrate another milestone in our craft-beer journey.

Cheers,
Muddy York Brewing Co.

Do you dare do battle with this holiday hop monster?

Back by popular demand, Dereliction Double IPA makes an appearance in the MYBC retail fridge. This double IPA comes in at a monstrous 225 IBUs with complex hop flavour and a smooth bitterness. We use pounds and pounds of Summit, Simcoe and Centennial to create this very bitter hop beast. Visit our retail bottle shop and slay this holiday hop monster.

For the craft beer lovers on Santa’s nice list, we have glassware, bottle bags, t-shirts, socks, beer soap, hoodies and more!

Enjoy the holiday season,

From all of us at Muddy York Brewing Co.

Commonly Uncommon Brick Maker Common

Howdy!

Commonly uncommon and 100% unique, Brick Maker Common finds it’s way back to the retail store today. What is a Common? The California Common or steam beer style is brewed with a special strain of lager yeast that ferments at ale temperatures. This method dates back to the late 1800’s in California when refrigeration was a great luxury. The brewers back then had to improvise to cool the beer down, so shallow fermenters were used. So in a way the lager yeast was trained to ferment quicker at warmer temperatures. This yeast provides a beautiful array of fruity esters in the aroma and we’ve balanced this with the woody and sometimes mint flavours of Northern Brewer hops.

If you want to get a jump on your holiday shopping, we also have a selection of merchandise to please all the craft beer lovers in your life. Glassware, t-shirts, socks, beer soap, hoodies and more!

Visit our retail bottle shop or find our brews on tap at some of the fine establishments that carry Muddy York.

Cheers!

From all of us at Muddy York Brewing Co.

P.S.
This weekend we will also be peddling our goods (but sadly not our beer) at Earl Beatty Public School in support of Holiday in the 'Hood. There will be an artisan market, bake sale, Santa Photos, kids activities and general good cheer! Proceeds support “Play Hard For Our Yard” a revitalization of the school playground.

RETAIL STORE HOURS:
Tuesday and Wednesday 11am to 4pm
Thursday and Friday 11am to 7pm
Saturday 11am to 4pm

Visit our retail store page for info and a real time listing of available beers.

So what's next for this local east end brewery? We're also very excited to be working on opening a taproom on location later this year! So stay tuned, we'll keep you updated on the progress.

Cheers!
